The Pink Photos

Headley Heath, Leatherhead, SurreyIf you think the photos look a little pink and dark then you’re right.

Headley Heath, Leatherhead, SurreyWe followed the Lizard Trail, which is about 2 miles and marked along the way by orange posts.

It starts at the main car park and is aimed at families.

Den Building

Headley Heath, Leatherhead, SurreyThere are lots of spots to head off the path and build a den.

They created many of the paths that still crisscross the heath and stored ammunition at The Pyramids (the area you come to at marker 6 on the Lizard Trail).

The heath was also used to support the Czech resistance.
