All About Toddle Doddle
How It Began
I started this website about 6 years ago, just after I had my first baby. I didn’t know much about having children but I did know that we were going to have a lot of fun together. The more I thought about it, the more I realised that what I really wanted was to have adventures. I wanted to see my children’s faces light up with excitement as we explored the world together.
All Adventures Great and Small
I tried to find adventures for children online but most of the sites I found were focussed on big days out with price tags to match. Whilst those kinds of days out are fantastic, I was after something different.
I wanted to find places where my children could learn to love being outdoors, getting muddy and climbing trees. Places that would fill them with a passion for playing, exploring and discovering. I wanted them to splash in streams, imagine worlds, find fossils, hunt for bugs and question, question, question. I wanted them to be free to discover themselves and fall in love with life.
It’s All About Speed and Inspiration
I have arranged Toddle Doddle so people can find what they need, switch off and get out and about as quickly as possible!
I have listed these adventures in different ways so you can find inspiration by name, location, cost, popularity, type of adventure or just by flicking through photos – whatever works best for you.
