Ancells Farm Park Play Area is a well equipped adventure play area with equipment for children of all ages. Over the road is Ancells Farm Nature Reserve, a pretty place to go for a walk.

This adventure play area has lots of challenging equipment for older children, including:
- a zip wire
- a multiplay with a slide, ropes, a bridge and easy to climb steps
- a wooden climbing frame with ropes
- a spinning climbing frame
- an obstacle course
- a trim trail
- a large slide with a climbing wall and ropes
- swings
- a basket swing
- a spinning disc.
The Play Area for Younger Children
The smaller, enclosed play area is for children to the age of 6 years and includes:
- toddler swings
- a donkey springer
- a dinosaur springer
- a spinning disc
- a 4-way springer
- a multiplay with a bridge, activity boards and a slide with easy to climb stairs
- seats.
The Sports Field
Next to the play area is a large sports field with a basketball net, both an 11-a-side and a 9-a-side football pitch, a covered seating area, picnic tables and climbing rocks.
