Zebon Copse Nature Reserve was all wonderfully overgrown when we visited. We followed the path to the boardwalk, winding our way through woodland, ponds and even a mire. It felt more like exploring a jungle than a nature reserve – we loved it!
The Reserve The paths of the reserve were easy to access. Some were a little narrow for a double buggy but that adds to the jungle feel! We spotted caterpillars, butterflies, spiders, damselflies and birds. The Basingstoke Canal A short walk from the end of the path is the beautiful Basingstoke Canal, where we fed some passing ducks. The Zebon Copse Play Area Next to the nature reserve is the fantastic Zebon Copse Play Area. Finding the Reserve If you stand in the car park with your back to the play area, there is a little footpath hidden under the trees. This will take you to the nature reserve.
