As we walked into Sunninghill Library my children squealed with delight and dived straight into the boxes of books.
Sunninghill Library It was easy to see why. The children’s section was bright and engaging with animal shaped chairs, low boxes full of picture books and bookshelves lit by ever-changing, multi-coloured lights. This library might be small but it feels intimate and welcoming, almost like being at someone’s house, and the staff member we met was lovely and helpful. The library is opposite St Michael’s CE Primary School and near a corner shop that sells ice creams and snacks.
