Lower Common Play Area hides in a shady woodland clearing. With adventure play equipment, picnic tables and a short walk through the woods, it can be a cool oasis on a hot day.
Lower Common Play Area
The play equipment is said to be for those under 12 years and is best suited to older children in that bracket.

It includes:
- a toddler swing
- swings
- an obstacle course with a wobbly bridge
- a pyramid with climbing walls
- a zip wire
- a bird springer.

There is also a picnic area and a walkway through a copse of trees.
