Tucked away behind a row of houses in Ascot is the colourful Cheapside Recreation Ground Play Area.

This playground is said to be suitable for children to the age of 13 years old and has:

- a seesaw
- a grasshopper springer
- a spinning climbing frame made of rope
- wobbly jumping platforms and toadstools
- a train with a tunnel
- a play house

- a large multiplay for older children with two slides, a climbing wall, bridge and a fireman’s pole
- a smaller multiplay for younger children with a slide, climbing wall and bridges
- a zip wire
- a picnic table
- seats.
