Which Activities Are Covered?
I am working towards listing all fun activities aimed at younger children.
It’s a wide range of activities and includes children’s theatres and baby cinemas, playgrounds and splash pads, stately homes and museums, fossil hunting and dinosaur trails, beaches and meadows.
Which Locations Are Covered?
I live near Farnham in Surrey, so this is my starting point.
For listing locally based activities (cinemas, leisure centres, libraries, play areas, sporting venues and toy libraries) I have used a 15 mile radius around Farnham.
Other categories of activity tend to be things you are prepared to travel further to try, so I have used a 40 mile radius.
Some places are just so special that they are listed despite being further away.
This map shows the area I focus on. You can click on some of the place names to open adventures in that area.
What Is Not Covered?
My aim is not to give full details of every activity listed, but instead to help people discover places they never knew about, give an overview of that place and also a link to further information.
Until I have visited somewhere it has a simple listing on the Maps without a photo. The details for places I have not visited are taken from the internet and are only approximate.
A Note on the Star Ratings
I use ratings because they are a way to quickly give information. Here are the criteria I use to rate an activity.

Places and event schedules change all the time.
To avoid any disappointment, please ensure you check relevant websites before your visit to make sure that the details are still accurate, the venue is open etc.
I’ve found it’s always a good idea to have a look at Google Maps before you leave.
Please note that the postcodes given are the nearest postcodes I could find, and should take you close to the venue, but are not necessarily the exact address for the activity.
