Hidden around Lakeside Nature Reserve are brass rubbing posts, lakes, an orchid meadow, woodland, and an adventure play area.
You can also find the Basingstoke Canal towpath, River Blackwater and Section 3 of the Blackwater Valley Path which all run near the reserve.
The Paths Most of the paths through the nature reserve are buggy friendly and easy to walk on. There are a few paths that are wilder too, like this path through the meadow. To find the Section 3 of the Blackwater Valley Path. follow one of the paths next to the play area, heading away from the car park.
