Oakhanger Play Area is a small but well-equipped adventure play area on the edge of Shortheath Common. It’s a great spot to play, picnic and walk.
Oakhanger Play Area
The play equipment is for children to the age of 14 years and includes:
- a swing
- a toddler swing
- a basket swing
- a spinner
- a multiplay with a tunnel, bridges, a fireman’s pole and a slide with easy to climb stairs
- a balance course
- a pig springer
- a picnic table
- seats.
Next to the play area is a small but unenclosed field.
