Shawfield Recreation Ground is a local play area with a field and a kick wall.
The play equipment includes:
- swings
- toddler swings
- a multiplay with a double slide, climbing ladders and a bridge
- another multiplay with a slide, ladders and nets.
Neither of the multiplays have easy to climb steps so smaller children may struggle to use the slides independently.
There is also a field with a kick wall and a basketball hoop.
Parking
There is a small car park next to the basketball hoop.
To find it, look for a gap in the road-side fence and a red and white barrier.
