Stoke Park Splash Pad is a large, shallow paddling pool decorated with sea creatures. Open during the summer holidays, this is somewhere children can splash and play the day away.

The Splash Pad

Stoke Park Splash Pad GuildfordThe splash pad has a welcoming feel. It is shallow, coming to a little above my ankles, and covered in underwater creatures, including a whale, seahorse, starfish and turtle.

Stoke Park Splash Pad, GuildfordIn the centre of the pool is small island that pokes out a little above the water.

Stoke Park Splash Pad, GuildfordThe paddling pool is surrounded by bushes, benches, a covered seating area and a grassy area where you can picnic.

It Can Be Busy!

Stoke Park Splash Pad GuildfordThe pool was very busy and there was lots of splashing by older children using the pool.

There are public toilets nearby and a place to buy ice-creams.

Stoke Park

Stoke Park Splash Pad GuildfordAs well as the splash pad, Stoke Park also has a playground, fields, various sports grounds, mini-golf, open fields and a model boating pond (although some of these facilities are only open on a seasonal basis).

The paths were well surfaced and buggy friendly.
