A Walk to a Stream

This leads to a bridge over a little stream and some fields where we spotted some ducks and rabbits.

If you follow this path you will eventually come to Sunningdale High Street.

There is a small refreshments kiosk with a sheltered picnic area and various seating areas scattered around the grounds.

The beautifully located Shere Recreation Ground is in the Surrey Hills and has a small play area with a beautiful backdrop. We often combine a visit to this play area with a walk in Shere Woodland.

Millenium Playground is a small but well-equipped play area near to the River Tillingbourne and in the Surrey Hills. This is a good play area to go to after visiting one of the the local pubs but does not have its own car park. 

 

The play equipment includes:

  • toddler swings
  • a multiplay with a slide, cargo nets and ladders
  • a balance course
  • two springers
  • a rope swing
  • a basket swing
  • a zip wire and
  • seats for adults.

 

Towerhill Playground Gomshall Surrey HillsNext to the play area is a large sports field with a football pitch.
