The Emma Sallis Adventure Playground at Black Park Country Park hides amongst the trees next to the lake, cafe and toilets. It has some exciting equipment, including a wooden castle, several multiplays with slides, an obstacle course and a jeep springer.

This is a shady play area next to a lake you can paddle in so it makes a cool spot to visit in the summer.

The paths are clearly marked and I did not have any problems pushing an all-terrain buggy.

 

 

 

The Miniature Railway

Moors Valley Railway, RingwoodThe Moors Valley Railway rumbles through the park (with seasonal opening hours). This is a miniature railway that connects Lakeside and Kingsmere stations.
